Jim Rives

President & CEO

Jim has spent a lifetime making a difference.  He worked for Wells Fargo Bank for nine years where he co-designed the first Leadership Assessment Center for the bank.  One of his assignments was the responsibility for the Recruitment and Management Development of the 1200 member IT Division of the Bank. 

He has served on the boards of non-profits in senior executive positions.  Jim received an honorary Doctor of Divinity in recognition of his leadership work with over 1100 non-profit organizations.  His work has included negotiations with the City Council of Los Angeles and serving on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary for seven years. 

As President & CEO of Ben Hammond Insurance, Inc. he successfully provided Independent Insurance services to over 2,000 corporations and individuals.  His experience also includes executive and technical recruitment to the High Tech industry in Silicon Valley and across the US. 

In addition to these achievements, Jim has been sought by many of the top 100 financial institutions (banks and credit unions) to surface leadership talent needed to move effectively into their futures.  His other recruitment experience has been in the High Tech industry for several years.

Executive Leadership Institute LLC was formed by Jim out of a passion for making a difference through offering real choices to organizations and leaders.  This difference allows them to realize personal and professional fulfillment and profits.  The systems and processes he has developed allow greater flexibility and individual culturalization.  Built upon the premise that individuals are seeking ways to move effectively in their strengths, his interactions are motivating and affirming of the individuals values and beliefs.
